Overview:

The U.S. EPA, the Task Force on Hemispheric Transport of Air Pollution (TF HTAP), and the Air Quality Model Evaluation International Initiative (AQMEII) are holding a set of overlapping workshops under the banner of “Air Quality in a Changing World.”  These workshops will be held 3-6 April 2017 at EPA’s campus in Research Triangle Park (RTP), North Carolina. 

Workshop Objectives:

  • Workshop 1: Monday and Tuesday (3-4 April 2017), will focus on drafting policy-relevant findings from the HTAP2/AQMEII3/MICS3 modeling experiments and outlining an overview results paper for the HTAP/AQMEII/MICS special issue of ACP.
  • Workshop 2: Wednesday and Thursday (5-6 April 2017), will start with a review of policy-relevant finding from past work on the impact of climate change on air quality and then kickoff a set of 13 new projects that have been awarded grants by EPA's STAR Program on the topic of Particulate Matter and Related Pollutants in a Changing World.
