Wiki Instructions

A portion of the TF HTAP website is a wiki hosted by FZ Juelich that is intended to facilitate the exchange of information between all TF HTAP participants. Separate wiki pages have been established for the various collaborative research, analysis, and assessment activities under the TF HTAP. Registered participants (see above) can edit the text on the pages, upload images (preferably in pdf format) and manuscript drafts, and post links to other resources.

The wiki portion of the site can be accessed directly at http://htap.icg.fz-juelich.de/data/

A short guide on how to use this Wiki can be found here: ICG2_Wiki_HowTo.pdf.  The Wiki pages also contain links to more detailed documentation.

HTAP Data Server

The HTAP data server, htap.icg.kfa-juelich.de, which was established by Research Center Jülich to support the HTAP model intercomparison, is a state-of-the-art Linux PC with a 1 TByte RAID 5 disk system. Access is granted to all participants in the HTAP modelling experiments after registration. Login is possible via ssh and you can use scp or sftp to transfer files from your local computer onto the HTAP server or vice versa. It is also possible to use standard software (netcdf tools, FORTRAN, IDL) for direct data processing on the server. Further instructions are provided here: http://htap.icg.fz-juelich.de/data/ServerHowTo

Adobe PDF Review and Comment Instructions

The preferred format for posting documents on this site is Adobe PDF. Many of the documents provided for review and comment can be marked up electronically using the commenting and reviewing tools available in the free Acrobat Reader (version 7 or later). Using these tools, you can add sticky notes; indicate text edits; and highlight, cross out, or underline text in the pdf file. You can also add premade or dynamic stamps. We encourage the use of these tools as they facilitate the process of compiling comments from multiple reviewers. For assistance with the reviewing tools, see the Acrobat Reader users guide (Chapter 4 in Version 8) http://www.adobe.com/products/reader/pdfs/reader_user_guide.pdf
